The Giga Carbon Pro 297 is the mixed-wheel configuration of the Nukeproof Giga: 29″ front, 27.5″ rear, 180mm travel on both sides. The frame shares the same suspension travel platform with the Dissent Nukeproofs World Cup downhill bike. Same linkage-controlled single pivot, same low shock position for a low center of mass. The difference: the geometry and kinematics have been adjusted so that the MTB is also good for climbing. Compared to the Giga 290, the 297 has a 27.5″ rear wheel instead of 29″. This offers two advantages: the rear wheel retains 180mm travel (the 290 goes back to 170mm) and the rear base on sizes S through L is 10mm shorter. The result is greater agility on technical terrain without sacrificing stability at high speeds.
The Nukeproof Giga Carbon is therefore the ultimate super-enduro machine, built for mountain bikers who want more travel, more capabilities, and more confidence on the toughest trails. Efficient enough to climb, but in its element dominating descents with uncompromising aggression.
The framesets are also available separately, including rear suspension, in the color scheme of your choice. This way, you build your own dream setup from frame to finishing touch.

With the DNA of our downhill platform Dissent and the enduro platform Mega, the Giga combines the best of both worlds. The result is a powerful long-travel bike, built for speed, precision, and pure riding pleasure. Whether you are chasing podiums, attacking technical descents, or getting the most out of the bike park, the Giga delivers.
The 297 is the right choice if you cover the majority of your mileage in technical terrain, the Ardennes, the Eifel, spend a week in the Alps or Dolomites, and want to do some climbing yourself. You want the travel volume and confidence of a downhill bike on the descent, without being dependent on a lift.
The 63.5° head tube angle and long wheelbase perform exactly as you expect at high speeds. The shorter rear triangle compared to the 290 makes the bike more agile on narrow and technical terrain. If climbing efficiency is your priority over travel volume, the Giga 290 or the Nukeproof Mega would be a better fit.
The 290 rides two 29″ wheels but limits the rear wheel to 170mm travel due to the wheel size. The 297 combines 29″ front with 27.5″ rear and retains 180mm travel on both sides. Each model has its own frame with its own rear base and geometry.
The Dissent is Nukeproof's pure downhill bike, World Cup-tested, 190–200mm travel, built to go down as fast as possible.
The Giga shares the same suspension travel platform but is adapted for mountain bikers who want to do the climbing themselves: steeper seat tube angle, less travel, an in-frame water bottle mount, and good anti-squat values for a balance between an efficient pedaling motion and active suspension that continues to absorb bumps.
Nukeproof calls it a super enduro, but in practice closer to a mini DH. The 63.5° head angle and travel volume are at downhill level, while the weight and seat tube angle make it suitable for pedal-intensive rides.
