Cooling-off period, withdrawal and cancellation
PeakFlow MTB sells both physical products and services. Which rules apply depends on what you buy. Below you can read what applies to your situation.
Physical products and other materials
When purchasing a physical product, you have a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days, starting on the day after you receive the product. You can cancel the agreement within this period without giving a reason using the withdrawal function on this page. After your notification, you will receive a confirmation by email within one working day.
Return the product within 14 days of withdrawal, unused, complete, and in its original packaging. Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We will refund the purchase amount, including original shipping costs, within 14 days of receipt, via the original payment method.
Mountain bikes in stock
For a mountain bike purchased as assembled and in stock, a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days applies after receipt. You can withdraw via the withdrawal function on this page. The product must be returned unused and in its original condition. Return costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Mountain bikes assembled or ordered to your specifications
The right of withdrawal does not apply to a mountain bike that has been assembled, configured, or ordered according to your specifications, such as a specific frame size, color scheme, or choice of components.
This follows from Article 6:230p sub b of the Dutch Civil Code. As soon as you confirm the configuration and place the order, the agreement is immediately binding.
If you choose a delivery date yourself when ordering, the cooling-off period also lapses pursuant to Article 6:230p sub e of the Dutch Civil Code. The costs are for the buyer.
Skill clinics and trips on a fixed date
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to skill clinics, guided rides, and trips that take place on a pre-agreed date or period. This follows from Article 6:230p sub e of the Dutch Civil Code. Your registration is binding immediately after payment.
Cancellation by the participant
- Up to 28 days before the start date: full refund, minus €[amount] administration fee.
- Between 28 and 14 days before the start date: 50% refund.
- Within 14 days before the start date: no refund.
To cancel, send an email to ride@peakflowmtb.nl. You will receive a confirmation within two working days.
Cancellation by Peak Flow MTB
In the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, insufficient participants, or force majeure, you will be given the choice between rescheduling to a later date or a full refund.
Training and coaching subscriptions
PeakFlow MTB's training and coaching subscriptions are ongoing services without a fixed end date. Upon registration, you have a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days, commencing on the day of conclusion. You may terminate the agreement within this period without giving any reason via the withdrawal function on this page.
If you wish to start immediately, even if this falls within the cooling-off period, we ask you to explicitly agree to immediate execution upon registration. By giving this consent, you waive your right of withdrawal for the part of the service already delivered. This follows from Article 6:230p sub d of the Dutch Civil Code.
After the cooling-off period, you may cancel the subscription monthly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current payment period. Training schedules, coaching sessions, or guidance already provided will not be refunded.
You can cancel via the stop function on this page or via ride@peakflowmtb.nl. You will receive a confirmation within one working day.
Gift cards and redemption
Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. When redeemed for personal training, a clinic, or a trip, the cancellation conditions as described above apply.
If an appointment or activity is cancelled by PeakFlow MTB due to weather conditions, insufficient participants, or force majeure, the gift voucher will automatically be revalidated for a new date of your choice.
In that case, the expiry date will be extended by at least 30 days. A cash refund is not possible when a gift card is redeemed by a third party.
