Nukeproof Tracker FS 297

The Tracker FS is Nukeproof's answer to a simple question:

How much of an enduro bike can you build if you leave out everything that drives up the price but adds nothing to how it rides? Same geometry as the EWS-winning Mega, same kinematics, alloy frame, 165mm rear, and a 170mm fork. What you sacrifice is weight and some luxury finish. What you are left with is a bike you can race the day after purchase.

At PeakFlow MTB, you don't buy it out of a box. You tell us where you ride, and we build it to suit you.

The Mega chassis, without the extra cost

Nukeproof gave its engineers one assignment: take the geometry and suspension system of the Mega 297, and build a frame around it that is much cheaper to manufacture. Everything you save on production goes straight to the price. The result is the Tracker FS, and the price is the kind that makes you read it twice.

This is intentionally an honest bike. The Mega features internal cable routing, hydroformed tubes, and a forged rear triangle. The Tracker has external cables, simpler formed tubes, and a welded rear end. That makes a difference in the manufacturing process, and therefore in what you pay. On the trail, you ride with exactly the same 64° head angle and 78° seat angle with which the Mega won the Enduro World Series four times. That geometry is now six years old and still relevant. Good geometry does not age.

Who is this for

For the rider who wants to ride, not show off. For those looking for a second bike for an Alpine trip or the bike park, without having five grand sitting idle in the shed. For those who want their first real entry into enduro without compromising on how the bike handles when things get steep and raw. And for the rider who knows that upgrades take you further: a longer dropper, stronger brakes, and you have a bike that performs far better than its price.

Be honest with yourself about one thing. The Tracker weighs around 17.2 kg and comes with trail tires and tubulars—tubeless ready, but with trail cassettes. If you really want to push it hard through enduro races, you will want heavier tires. That is not a weakness of the bike; that is the logic of the price.

You decide how it is built

This is where PeakFlow MTB is a different dealer. The standard Tracker FS is a strong foundation. But you don't ride standard. If you want a longer dropper post, a sturdier tire pack, or brakes with more power right away, we will build that in before the bike arrives. No selection menu, but a custom build, tailored by people who ride themselves and know the trails.

Complete as is? No problem. Built to your riding style, trails, and budget? That’s possible too. We’ll work with you until the bike is just right.

They ride virtually the same, because the Tracker uses the geometry and suspension system of the Mega 297. Same roll angle, same seat angle, same suspension method. The difference lies in the manufacturing process. The Mega has internal cable routing, hydroformed tubes, and a forged swingarm. The Tracker has external cables, simpler formed tubes, and a welded rear end. That makes it cheaper to produce and therefore more economical for you, at a small cost in weight. Choose the Mega if you want the lighter, more refined finish. Choose the Tracker if you want the same handling at the best price.

In terms of geometry, absolutely; it is, after all, the EWS-winning Mega chassis. But as it stands, with trail tires and tubulars, it is more of a bike to learn how to race on than to attack an enduro podium with. If you want it truly race-ready, you will want heavier tires and probably stronger brakes. That is not a weakness; that is the logic of the price. And that is exactly where we come in: we build it up exactly how you need it.

That is possible. We do not sell bikes out of a box, so before you choose, we will check together if this is the right bike for you. Send a message via ride@peakflowmtb.nl or call +31 (0)6 4000 1996, and we will schedule a time.

Lifetime warranty on the frame, transferable upon registration within 30 days of purchase. Annual maintenance at an authorized dealer is required.
